By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Pretty Peace Mobile Spa services. By booking any of our services, you accept these terms in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.
2. Booking & Appointments
- Booking Confirmation: All bookings require confirmation via WhatsApp, phone call, or email. A booking is not confirmed until you receive confirmation from us.
- Service Hours: We operate Monday-Friday 9am-9pm, Saturday 10am-8pm, and Sunday 11am-6pm. Appointments outside these hours may be available upon request with prior arrangement.
- Location Requirements: You must provide a safe, clean, and private space for treatments. For massage services, we require a space of at least 2m x 2m for setup.
- Travel Radius: We service Cape Town and surrounding areas. Locations beyond 20km from the city center may incur additional travel fees.
3. Payment Terms
- Payment Methods: We accept cash, EFT, and card payments. Card payments may incur a 3% processing fee.
- Deposits: A 50% deposit is required for:
- Group bookings (3+ people)
- Spa packages over R2,000
- Bookings during peak periods (December holidays, Valentine's Day, etc.)
- Full Payment: Full payment is due upon completion of service unless prior arrangements have been made.
- Price Changes: We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Bookings already confirmed will be honored at the quoted price.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Important: Our cancellation policy is strictly enforced to ensure fair availability for all clients.
- 24+ Hours Notice: Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the appointment time will receive a full refund of any deposit paid.
- Less than 24 Hours Notice: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may result in a 50% cancellation fee of the total service cost.
- No-Show: Clients who fail to be present at the scheduled appointment time without notice will be charged 100% of the service fee.
- Rescheduling: We allow one free rescheduling with at least 24 hours notice. Subsequent rescheduling or rescheduling with less than 24 hours notice may incur a R200 rescheduling fee.
- Therapist Late Arrival: If our therapist is more than 30 minutes late due to our fault, you will receive a 20% discount on your service.
5. Health & Safety
- Health Disclosure: You must disclose any health conditions, allergies, injuries, or pregnancy before treatment. Failure to disclose relevant health information may result in refusal of service.
- Medical Clearance: For certain conditions (pregnancy, recent surgery, heart conditions, etc.), we require written clearance from your healthcare provider.
- Service Refusal: We reserve the right to refuse service if:
- You appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- You have a contagious illness or skin condition
- There are safety concerns in the treatment environment
- You behave inappropriately toward our therapists
- Hygiene Standards: We follow strict hygiene protocols. All equipment is sanitized between clients. Single-use items are disposed of after each treatment.
6. Service Guarantees & Limitations
- Service Quality: We strive to provide the highest quality services. If you are unsatisfied with your service, please notify us within 24 hours to discuss resolution options.
- Allergic Reactions: We use high-quality products, but we cannot guarantee against allergic reactions. Patch tests are available upon request for facial treatments.
- Treatment Results: Results from beauty treatments may vary based on individual factors. We provide realistic expectations during consultation.
- Service Modifications: Our therapists may modify treatments based on professional judgment to ensure safety and effectiveness.
7. Liability & Insurance
- Our Liability: Pretty Peace Mobile Spa and our therapists are fully insured. We are liable for injuries or damages caused by our negligence.
- Client Liability: You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate health information
- Securing pets during the appointment
- Ensuring children are supervised
- Protecting your own property
- Limitation of Liability: We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing conditions aggravated by treatment
- Allergic reactions to products unless we were negligent in product selection
- Injuries resulting from failure to follow therapist instructions
- Loss or damage to client property unless caused by our negligence
8. Gift Vouchers
- Validity: Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and cannot be extended.
- Redemption: Vouchers must be presented at the time of service. Lost or stolen vouchers will not be replaced.
- Non-Transferable: Vouchers are non-transferable unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
- Non-Refundable: Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are only refundable within 14 days of purchase if unused.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, marketing materials, and service descriptions are the intellectual property of Pretty Peace Mobile Spa. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cape Town.
